Holding Companies Accountable With Their Sustainability Efforts

LinkedIn | PUBLISHED ON 8 FEBRUARY 2022

Being an environmental activist myself, I knew I would already enjoy researching this blog article before starting out the outline. I have talked about climate justice with other activists - both online and offline - and was familiar with certain sustainibility topics which could fit a Chief Commercial Officer at a Swedish-based Fintech company. The client wished to have a callout article for big corporations to take serious action beyond their ‘promised written goals’. Working alongside the Brand Manager, I had proposed sub topics with relevant evidence as references which the client was happy with. We didn’t need to go back and forth too much since the blog outline and research went over the client’s expectations. It was a fun article to do where my passion for fighting climate injustice for marginalised communities and talking about sustainability on an inclusive level came together. Plus, I learned even more about ‘green investments’!
